Moffat County Fire Restrictions to Be Lifted

Effective Friday, September 11, 2026, at 0001 hours, Moffat County will move out of current fire restrictions.

While conditions have improved enough to lift restrictions, residents and visitors are encouraged to remain cautious when using fire outdoors. Please pay attention to wind and weather conditions, keep water or other extinguishing equipment nearby, and make sure all fires are completely extinguished before leaving them unattended.

Controlled burns are still required to be called in prior to burning.
