VFW Thanks Deputy for Service

Today, VFW Post 3981 recognized Sgt. Robert Beagley for his service to the community.

Sgt. Beagley served four years in the US Army and continues to serve his community with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office as a first-line supervisor. He is currently assigned to the Court Services Unit and has been highly successful in further developing internal relationships between the other divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, with the courts, and the District Attorney’s Office.

Sgt. Beagley has also been instrumental in encouraging his team to volunteer in the community. Recently, he and several others from the Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office took on a community service project helping Wing and a Prayer, an organization that helps families who’ve lost loved ones to violent crime begin to heal. The group donated a combined 44 hours clearing beetle-infested timber to help preserve the Glade Park property for generations to come.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is proud Sgt. Beagley’s service and dedication to our community.
