CLIFTON, COLO. - On May 28, 2026, 8:07 p.m. deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a juvenile who had been assaulted near the 3200 block of Hall Court in Clifton, Colorado. 

The juvenile was transported by family to an area hospital for treatment, where deputies conducted an interview. Following this interview, deputies began searching the area of the initial incident for the suspect, identified as Savana Desimone, 18, of Clifton. Savana was contacted at a nearby residence and taken into custody without incident. 

Savana was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charge:

• Third degree assault, Misdemeanor 1
