GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - On April 2, 2026, deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office arrested Clifton resident Joseph Vogan, 23, on charges related to a road rage incident. Just before 3 p.m., the suspect and victims had a physical interaction at the intersection of 30 Road and I-70 Business Loop. The victims were able to describe distinguishing and identifying markings on the suspect vehicle, leading deputies to quickly locate the suspect in the area of 1800 East Main Street.
Vogan was arrested without incident and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- Reckless endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
- Criminal Mischief $300 - $1,000, Misdemeanor 2
- Assault in the third degree, 2 counts, Misdemeanor 1
- Child abuse injury - non-serious bodily injury, Misdemeanor 1
- Disorderly Conduct - fighting in public, 2 counts, Petty Offense
