Mesa County, CO - At approximately 10:00 am this morning, missing 73-year-old Greda Machuga of Westminster was located in a remote area of Mesa County in the White River National Forest near Alsbury Reservoir.  Machuga was reported missing by family members after she did not return from an outing on 8/2/2023. The Mesa County Sheriff's Office, Mesa County Search and Rescue,  assisted by Arapahoe Rescue Patrol, Aspen Mountain Rescue, the Montrose County Sheriff's Posse, Garfield County Search and Rescue, Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Mesa County Road and Bridge, and Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, were all involved in the 3-day search for Ms. Machuga.  She is currently being evaluated and transported out of the area.
