Male Arrested Following Domestic Violence, Assaulting Multiple Deputies

CLIFTON, COLO. - On August 7, 2026, at approximately 10 p.m., deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vandalism in progress on the 400 block of Coronado Court in Clifton, Colorado. When deputies arrived on scene, they encountered two males in an altercation.

Deputies identified Julian Ebertowski, 20, of Clifton, Colorado, as the suspect in the incident and was believed to be intoxicated at the time. As deputies attempted to talk to Ebertowski, became verbally and physically uncooperative. While being placed into custody, Ebertowski kicked two deputies, making contact with both, and spat on multiple deputies.

During their investigation, witnesses reported Ebertowski punched out a window of a home in the immediate area and he was found to be in possession of two debit cards belonging to a different individual. Additionally, deputies obtained evidence regarding a physical altercation resulting in physical harm to a victim and property.

Due to the incident and following investigation, Ebertowski was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:

  • Harassment - strike, shove, kick or otherwise touches or subjects to physical contact, Misdemeanor 1
  • Domestic violence
  • Criminal mischief - $1000-$2000, Misdemeanor 1
  • Assault - 2nd degree on a police officer/firefighter, Felony 4
  • Harassment - strike, shove, kick or otherwise touches or subjects to physical contact, Misdemeanor 1
  • Harassment - strike, shove, kick or otherwise touches or subjects to physical contact, Misdemeanor 1
  • Harassment - strike, shove, kick or otherwise touches or subjects to physical contact, Misdemeanor 1
  • Harassment - strike, shove, kick or otherwise touches or subjects to physical contact, Misdemeanor 1
  • Criminal mischief - under $300, Petty Offense
  • Criminal possession of one or more financial devices, Misdemeanor 2
  • Violation of a protection order, Misdemeanor 2
