MESA COUNTY, COLO. - The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce that the events of Glow N Games 2026 presented by Kooler Garage Doors, including Cops & Cars, raised over $20,000 for Special Olympics Colorado. The events both took place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Long Family Memorial Park.
The day began with Cops & Cars 2026, made possible by generous donations from Kooler Garage Doors, Northstar Towing, and Merge2Media. Over 50 cars entered the car show, with the Top 20 being awarded a trophy and Best in Show receiving a prize package from Clearnetworx, a donated 65 inch television, and a large trophy.
Later on, the games and fun resumed for Glow N Games 2026 presented by Kooler Garage Doors. Clifton Fire Protection District and Lower Valley Fire District set up the Firefighter Test made up of a dummy drag, door bust, hose roll, and Kaiser sled. A dunk tank, donated by Shires Bounce Rentals, held a rotation of deputies and firefighters, which served as a fun additional fundraiser.
Before the race began, Mesa County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard presented the Colors and Athletes from Special Olympics Colorado Western Slope were accompanied by Undersheriff King to light the Flame of Hope. Following the opening ceremony, 155 races took off to glow around the 5K course!

By the end of the evening, over $20,000 was raised for Special Olympics Colorado. These funds help over 30,000 Colorado Athletes access sports activities and training, health and wellness programming, and leadership opportunities.
