GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - On February 03, 2026, patrol deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office contacted Dennis Leeper, 54, in the area of 30 and D Roads. Leeper had multiple outstanding warrants.

His new charges stem from methamphetamine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. In addition to the outstanding warrants, he was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:

• Unlawful Possession of >4 Grams Controlled Substance Schedule I/II - Felony 4
• Tampering With Physical Evidence, Destroy - Felony 6
• Unlawful Use Of A Controlled Substance - Misdemeanor 1
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drug Petty Offense
