COLLBRAN, COLO. - As of March 27, 2026, the Brushy Ridge Fire along 64 3/10 Road outside of Collbran, Colorado, is 30% contained. Growth is not expected and flames are no longer visible.
Early in the day, a helicopter dropped a containment style line of fire retardant material outside of the established 100 acre burn zone. Throughout the day, air tankers and a helicopter have dropped multiple rounds of water on hot spots.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor the Brushy Ridge Fire and release updates as appropriate.
