UPDATE - On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at approximately 7:50 a.m., Deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a deceased male near the 700 block of Soaring Eagle Drive. Upon arrival, Deputies located the deceased male and identified him as Michael Tollis. Mr. Tollis was reported as an endangered missing adult on June 24, 2024, after walking away from his residence. 

The death is not considered suspicious at this time. Any further information will be provided by the Mesa County Coroner’s Office pending autopsy.

Endangered Missing Adult: Michael Tollis, age 52, left his residence near the 400 block of Sandia Drive in the Redlands yesterday, around 4:00 p.m.  He suffers from short-term memory loss and is not familiar with the area.  He also has medical issues that require medication.  Michael Tollis is described as a white male, 200 lbs., six feet tall, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a blonde beard.   He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and Converse sneakers of an unknown color.
