On July 15, 2026 at 10:01pm, Officers were sent to the area of Oak Leaf Gardens, outside of 1103 Pin Oak Dr., because gunshots were fired and a female inside of an apartment had been struck.  Officers arrived and tended to the victim, who was subsequently transported to the hospital by EMS.  The area was secured by Patrol Officers and the Criminal Investigators were contacted to conduct the investigation. No other victims were identified. The female victim sustained serious injury, but is expected to make a full recovery.

     Through the investigation a suspect has been identified as Aveair Harrison, a 17 year old male. Harrison has been charged with:

          Aggravated assault

          Aggravated assault with a deady weapon

          Possession of a weapon by a minor

          Recklessly endangering another person and Criminal mischief. 

     A warrant has been issued for Harrison's arrest.
