District Attorney Anthony Parisi said, "The allegations contained in this indictment describe an extraordinarily dangerous act of gun violence that endangered not only the intended victims, but everyone who was in the vicinity that evening. Allegedly firing multiple rounds on a public street in the City of Poughkeepsie demonstrates a complete disregard for human life and the safety of our community. Through our participation in New York State's Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) Initiative, we continue to work collaboratively with our law enforcement partners using intelligence-driven enforcement strategies to identify, investigate, and prosecute those responsible for violent crimes. Every illegal firearm and every act of gun violence we remove from our streets makes our community safer.”
