Fire resources are en route to assist with a fire at the Beavertail Tunnel, east of Debeque on 1-70.  Currently, 1-70 is still open.  Please use caution, as smoke may cause visibility issues.  Type 1 Aircraft has been deployed by the Bureau of Land Management and MCSO Wildland Fire along with Plateau Valley, Palisade, and DeBeque Fire Departments have all been dispatched.  No structures are currently being threatened, and no evacuations are being ordered at this time.  Updated information will be released as it becomes available.  Air resources have spotted another fire 3 miles to the south, and fire crews will be responding to that area. No information regarding threatened structures or road closures is available at this time.
