Following nine days of testimony and just over three hours of deliberations, a Dutchess County jury convicted 52-year-old Shrone Wright, also known as “Onsight” of Poughkeepsie, of the crime of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class ‘B’ Violent Felony for causing the death of 50-year-old William Gearhart, also known as “Captain Bill”.
