Domestic violence prevention requires more than reacting after harm occurs. In a recent op-ed in Mid-Hudson News I discuss how smart prosecution allows us to proactively address domestic violence before it escalates, rather than reacting after the fact. By intervening earlier, we can help prevent further harm and strengthen safety across our community.
