On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Hillsboro Police Officers laced up their running shoes and took part in the Special Olympics Torch Run, making the journey from Hillsboro to the State House in Concord. They were joined by Special Olympics athletes, volunteers, and local students, for a great cause.

Every mile was a show of support for the athletes and the values they represent and despite the heat, the group stayed focused and finished strong.  The Hillsboro Police Department is proud to support Special Olympics and will continue to stand behind these athletes.

Finally, thank you to Hillsboro Ford for generously providing a van to support our team along the route.
