WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT-  National Weather Service Grand Junction, CO ( has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING from 5 pm Tuesday February 21st through 5 am Thursday February 23rd.  

This winter storm warning effects the lower Yampa River Basin and Central River Basin.  Heavy snow and blowing snow are expected, with snow accumulations from 5 to 10 inches with over a foot possible across higher terrain.  Winds are expected to gust over 45 mph at times.
