GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - On September 27, 2026, at approximately 9:40 a.m., deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespass in progress at a building on the 2800 block of Riverside Park Drive in Grand Junction Colorado. The reporting party believed someone may be living in a vacant building on the property and storing stolen items within.
Deputies responded to the area and found a female matching the suspect’s description on the 2700 block of Riverside Parkway. The suspect, identified as Angela Williams, 41, of Grand Junction, was found to be in possession of multiple sections of cut copper piping and tools utilized to access and cut piping. Deputies were able to locate additional sections of pipe that had been cut and left behind on the initial property.
Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- 2nd degree burglary of a building, Felony 4
- Theft - $300-$1000, Misdemeanor 2
- Possession of burglary tools, Misdemeanor 2
