This Police Week, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office partnered with our law enforcement community to create two videos to share with the public. You are invited to watch these videos to learn more about the men and women who are proud to serve this community. 

Why I Serve

In Mesa County, law enforcement is comprised of many different agencies and uniforms. One thing we all have in common is our desire to serve and protect our community. This Police Week, the men and women of Mesa County law enforcement are sharing why they choose to serve.

Memorial Vigil

Each Police Week it is important to take a moment to remember those who have given their lives in service to our community. This year, the combined Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Junction Police Department Honor Guard pay tribute to Mesa County Fallen Officers: Colorado State Patrol Sergeant Wesley Rosette, Fruita Police Department Acting Chief Dan Dalley, and Mesa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Derek Geer.
