GRAND JUNCTION, CO - The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office will again be hosting free, monthly Fraud and Scam Prevention Classes. These classes provide community members information about common, new, and complex fraud and scam schemes. The goal is to help our community members identify these schemes to avoid falling victim, while also learning what to do if they become a fraud or scam victim. Morning classes will be held once a month and a new evening class will be held once a quarter.
Each class will be led by an investigator or investigators from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Property Crimes Unit. Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class!
Morning classes run from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
