GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - At around 10:20 a.m. on August 26, 2026, deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office made a pedestrian contact in the 3100 block of Bunting Ave. Deputies recognized Dandi Matson, 59, of Grand Junction, as having an active felony warrant for her arrest.

More than 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine were located in Matson’s possession. She was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:

• Unlawful possession >4g controlled substance schedule I/II, Felony 4
• Possession of drug paraphernalia, Drug Petty Offense
• Contempt of court, Felony Warrant

Matson is being held on a $2000 cash-only bond.
