Missing person



Update: The Mesa County Coroner’s Office identified the body recovered in the Colorado River as Dustin Robinson, 43, of Clifton, Colorado. Mr. Robinson was reported missing and last seen on May 24, 2021. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has determined the cause of death is drowning and the manner of death is accident. Toxicology is pending at this time and he was not wearing a life preserver.



The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing person.

Dustin Robinson, 43, was last seen Monday. His vehicle was found at the Riverfront Clifton Nature Park near 32 ½ Road and D Road. 

Dustin is described as a white male, 160 lbs, 6’, bald with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans. 

Deputies have searched the river and surrounding areas extensively but so far have found no signs of him.
