Mesa County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify possible witnesses to a recent crime.  

An assault occurred around midnight Saturday, January 29 into Sunday, January 30, 2022, in the parking lot of Central Station (2993 North Ave). An adult male was beaten and left with serious bodily injuries. He was taken to the hospital and treated. 

Through the course of the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office has learned several people may have witnessed the assault including a rideshare driver who has yet to come forward.
