Help Identify: Stolen/Fraudulent Credit Card Use



The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify two people believed to be involved in using a stolen or fraudulent credit card.

On November 27, 2022, at approximately 11:45 am, two males entered the Trading Post Liquor store at 2898 Hwy 50 in Grand Junction.  They made two large purchases totaling over $800 using a stolen or fraudulent credit card.

Surveillance video captured an image of the suspects and several photos of their vehicle after it exited onto 29 Road and traveled west. The car is described as a small-medium, light-colored, 4-door sedan. The two are described as "nicely dressed" adult males; one is described as a hispanic male, and the other as a black male.  

On the same date, two males fitting the same description also entered Jack Rabbit Liquors at 2681 Unaweep Avenue and attempted to make similar liquor purchases; however, they could not complete that purchase.
