GATEWAY, CO - As of 1 p.m. on July 13, 2025 a PRE-EVACUATION NOTICE has been given for areas of Highway 141 between mile markers 128 and 131 north of Gateway, Colorado.
The areas of Highway 141 between Mile Markers 124 and 128 remain in PRE-EVACUATION NOTICE as well.

The Evacuation Center can be found at the Clifton Community Center at 3270 D 1/2 Road, Clifton, CO. Please note, this is not a housing shelter. Individuals who have been displaced will be assessed for needs, including housing, and connected to resources.
For those with large animals who need assistance in securing shelter for their large animals please call 970-778-0161 to be connected with options and resources.
The public is asked to please avoid this area to allow fire crews to continue work containing the Turner Gulch and Wright Draw Fires. Information on the status of these fires can be found via the Bureau of Land Management Upper Colorado River District.
