Congratulations to Sergeant Richard Ryhal on his well-deserved promotion within the New Castle Police Department!

On May 27, 2026, Officer Ryhal was officially sworn in as Sergeant during a ceremony held at City Hall. Sgt. Ryhal has proudly served the citizens of New Castle since 2006 and has demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and leadership throughout his career.

Sergeant Ryhal is currently the Officer in Charge of Squad 4 and will continue serving in that important leadership role.
