MESA COUNTY, CO - On September 3, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., Deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed home invasion in the 400 block of Morning Dove Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado. Through the course of the investigation, four suspects were identified, three of whom were masked and possessed weapons upon entry to the home that was occupied at the time of the incident.
On September 5, 2025, Shane Bowser (29), Harley Gurule (27), and Eric Everett (43), all of Grand Junction, were taken into custody without incident at a residence on the 46000 block of Highway 65, in Mesa, Colorado.
The fourth suspect has since been identified as Brian Jensen (50), of Grand Junction. Jensen was arrested without incident on September 17, 2025, in the 2200 block of Highway 6 and 50, in Grand Junction.
Jensen was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- First Degree Burglary - Assaults or Menaces or is Armed, Felony 3
- Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Felony 4
- Criminal Attempt - Felony Menacing, Felony 6
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
Gurule was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- First Degree Burglary - Assaults or Menaces or is Armed, Felony 3
- Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Felony 4
- Aggravated Robbery - Wound/Strike with a Weapon, Felony 3
- Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon, Felony 5
- Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon, Felony 5
- Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender, Felony 6
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
Everett was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- First Degree Burglary - Assaults or Menaces or is Armed, Felony 3
- Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Felony 4
- Aggravated Robbery - Wound/Strike with a Weapon, Felony 3
- Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon, Felony 5
- Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon, Felony 5
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
Bowser was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility and is being held on the following charges:
- Probation Violation
- Fugitive from Other Jurisdiction Warrant
- Warrant Arrest
- First Degree Burglary - Assaults or Menaces or is Armed, Felony 3
- Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon, Felony 5
- Reckless Endangerment, Misdemeanor 2
- Harassment, Misdemeanor 2
This is believed to be an isolated incident. The case remains under investigation. There is no ongoing danger to the community, and no further information is available at this time.
