An officer had observed a pickup truck matching the description of a truck known to be operated by an individual who had a warrant for possession of controlled drugs. The officer conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle and confirmed the identities of the operator and passenger. Both did indeed have warrants from the Hillsboro Police Department for possession of controlled drugs. Both were subsequently arrested without incident and held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending arraignment at the Hillsborough District Court.
