Information from the community led to the arrest of Shane Frost (age 30) of Grand Junction. On August 13, 2022, Mr. Frost returned to Murdoch's Ranch and Home Supply and was immediately identified as a wanted person. When the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrived at Murdoch's, Mr. Frost attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. Mr. Frost was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on theft charges and a warrant from Summit County. For updated bond information, click here.

ORIGINAL POST: The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who was involved in a recent theft at a local business. The crime occurred at approximately 12:45  p.m. on August 7, 2022, at Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply, 3217 I-70 Business Loop. Surveillance video captured the image of the individual believed to be involved.
