Multiple fire crews are working to control the 39 Road Fire burning on BLM and private land in the Horse Mountain area at the end of 39 Road. It's burned about 20-25 acres. No structures are threatened. Wind and dry vegetation are fueling this fire. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office Wildland Fire Team, BLM, Clifton Fire, Palisade Fire, Central Orchard Mesa Fire, East Orchard Mesa Fire, Lands End Fire all have crews fighting the fire. It was first reported around 10:30 Saturday morning. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. 📷 Clifton Fire
