Law Explorer Program

Are you looking for a new activity for your teenager? Join our Law Explorer Program! Through activities such as riding along with on-duty officers and helping at special events, members of our Explorer program learn about respect, responsibility, honesty, trust, caring, fairness, perseverance, self-discipline, courage, citizenship, and life skills. The positive character traits and skills learned by our Explorers not only make them more confident and capable, but also give them an invaluable understanding of how things work in the real world. Our Explorer program is not only a great introduction to the law enforcement career but to the world at large.

Requirements:

¨ Complete an application (located at the PD)

¨ Age 14-20 years old

¨ Good standing in school (at least a C average)

¨ Must have completed the 8th grade

¨ Must pass background investigation

Uniforms and necessary equipment are provided.
