The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in attempting to identify the male and female, pictured above, who were involved in a larceny/fraud incident that occurred in the Lowe’s parking lot, located in the Town of Culpeper, VA. The incident happened on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 around 1:30PM.

The couple conducted a distraction scheme on the victim that resulted in a wallet being stolen from the inside of the victims’ vehicle. Credit cards were later utilized at the Culpeper Walmart location. After the incident at Lowe’s, they were seen leaving in a brown 2010’s model Chevy Malibu with no front tag.
