The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the owner/driver of the above pictured vehicle that was involved in a hit and run incident at the Culpeper Head Start; located on Old Fredericksburg Rd. The incident occurred in the schools parking lot during the evening hours of Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Based on evidence left at the scene, the vehicle appears to be a dark gray metallic, 2010-2013 model, Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle entered the schools parking lot at a high rate of speed, turned around and drove up onto the sidewalk. It then struck a tree and sign post, causing right front-end damage, before exiting the parking lot.
