The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying this male suspect who was involved in a counterfeiting incident. The suspect passed counterfeit currency at a local business on the south end of the Town of Culpeper.

The incident occurred on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The suspect requested a delivery to a local hotel on the south of Town and provided the delivery driver with the counterfeit currency and was given change back from the transaction. He was then seen walking away from the rear side of the hotel heading towards Southridge Parkway or Willis Lane area. He is described as a  male in his early to mid-30s, approximately 6’2” to 6’4”, with glasses and a face mask, wearing a dark colored New York Yankees baseball cap, black Nike jacket with gray trim, gray Adidas athletic pants and dark colored Air Jordan sandals.
