On July 27, 2026, Humble Police officers conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of an individual on felony narcotics charges for manufacture and delivery. During the investigation, officers recovered approximately 13.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, and $3,237 in U.S. currency believed to be connected to illegal narcotics trafficking.
Following the arrest, K-9 Jeffrey, a certified dual-purpose police canine, conducted controlled narcotics detection sniffs on the seized currency and suspected narcotics. K-9 Jeffrey successfully alerted to both the currency and the concealed methamphetamine, further supporting the investigation. The seized currency was accepted for asset forfeiture, and felony charges for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1) were accepted by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
