An individual reported receiving a phone call from a number displaying "Hilsboro Police" on their caller ID. The call was automated and claimed to be regarding insurance from an accident. The automated system inquired whether the individual had been involved in an accident within the past two years. 
Please note that the Hillsboro Police do not use automated systems to contact individuals. It is important to never share personal information over the phone if it seems suspicious.
