Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate

Training instructor led classes provide preparation and a plan for individuals and organizations on how to more proactively handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or active shooter event. Whether it is an attack by an individual person or by an international group of professionals intent on conveying a political message through violence, ALICE Training option based tactics have become the accepted response, versus the traditional “lockdown only” approach.

RAIDER Training:

Rapid Deployment / Awareness / Intervention / Decisiveness / Emergency Medical Services / Recovery

The RAIDER Training program exposes first-on-scene responders to the tactical skills necessary to operate successfully in the unique tensions of an active shooter setting – a hostile environment, populated by large numbers of civilians, with an active shooter attempting to achieve the highest body count possible in the shortest amount of time. This is not a normal event, nor is the response.

Contact Capt. John Hunter or Inv. Mike Albert for more information.

D.U.I. / Seat Belt Enforcement Lanes:

The goal of these checkpoints is to weed out inebriated drivers and therefore keep the roads safer. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), sobriety checkpoints have the potential to prevent nearly 1 out of 10 DUI-related deaths.

Kansas law enables police officers to stop and ticket the driver of any passenger vehicle, if either the driver or front seat passenger, is observed not wearing a seat belt. This law also applies to anyone under age 18.

These safety programs are instituted in partnership with the Kansas Highway Patrol, Dodge City Police Department,
& Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks
