The Culpeper Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash involving a Culpeper man that occurred on Colonel Jameson Blvd. in the Town of Culpeper. 

On April 23, 2026 at approximately 11:00 p.m., units were dispatched to the area of Colonel Jameson Blvd. for a reported motorcycle crash.  Upon arriving, first responders discovered that Jared Brundage, 20 yoa. of Culpeper, VA, was riding his motorcycle westbound on Colonel Jameson Blvd. For reasons unknown, Brundage lost control of his motorcycle, striking the curb which resulted in him being thrown from his motorcycle into a light pole. Emergency personnel immediately began life saving measures.

Brundage was transported to the UVA Culpeper hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The Culpeper Police Accident Reconstruction Team was responded to scene to assist in the investigation.   This is an active and ongoing investigation.
