The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in attempting to identify the male subject, pictured above, who was involved in a unlawful entry and shoplifting incident that occurred at Wal-Mart, located in the Town of Culpeper, VA. The incident happened on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 around 1:00AM.

The male entered the store after hours and proceeded to fill a cart full merchandise. He attempted to flee with the cart but was stopped in the entry/exit vestibule. Employees managed to recover the goods but the male fled the store on foot to an awaiting vehicle in the parking lot. He was seen getting into the passenger side of a burgundy older model SUV with tan trim along the base of the vehicle, possibly a Ford Explorer (also pictured above).
