• On 8/7/1015, Preston S Daigler (age 27) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 3^rd.

It’s alleged that Daigler threw a brick through a car window, during an altercation on East Main St.

• On 8/5/2025, Shane H Zimblis (age 54) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd, Menacing 2^nd, Aggravated Family Offense, and Unlawful Imprisonment 1^st.

It’s alleged that Zimblis threatened another person, with a knife, during an altercation on Hutchins St. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court.

• On 7/30/2025, Jill M Turner (age 43) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 1^st.

Turner allegedly almost struck another person with her car and yelled at the victim, in violation of an order of protection. Turner was arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 8/6/2025, David N Hanna (age 49) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.

Hanna was charged after police responded to a citizen complaint of an intoxicated driver on Pearl St. He was issued appearance tickets and is due in court on 8/26/2025.

• On 8/4/2025, Pietro Russo (age 50) of Batavia, was arrested for Assault 3^rd.

Russo allegedly injured another person by punching the victim several times, during an altercation on Holland Ave. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

• On 8/6/2025, Samuel J Hernandez (age 23) of Batavia, was arrested on two warrants for Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief 4^th.

When Batavia Police located Hernandez on East Main St and attempted to take him into custody, he allegedly resisted arrest. He was additionally charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 7/31/2025, Kaheem T Phillips (age 25) of Greece, was arrested on a warrant.

Phillips was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket in August of 2023. The warrant was issued when he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 8/2/2025, Brandon M Weig (age 37) of Batavia, was arrested on charges from four separate criminal cases.

Weig was charged with Petit Larceny, for allegedly stealing items out of a vehicle, on Porter Ave. He was charged with another count of Petit Larceny, for allegedly stealing merchandise from Quicklee’s. He was charged with Criminal Trespass 3^rd after allegedly entering a fenced-in yard on Dellinger Ave. Finally, he was arrested on a bench warrant, after allegedly failing to appear in court on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 8/3/2025, Eddie L Miles (age 53) of Batavia and Zakara R Jackson (age 21) of Batavia, were arrested for Petit Larceny.

Miles and Jackson allegedly stole merchandise from Kwik Fill on Jackson St. Both were issued appearance tickets and released.

• On 8/1/2025, Mark L Farley (age 56) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

Farley allegedly damaged another person’s phone, during an altercation on Harvester Ave. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 8/12/2025.

• On 8/2/2025, Ronald O McBride (age 35) of Brinson, GA, was arrested for DWI.

McBride was arrested following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 8/3/2025, Jarrod K Fotiathis (age 30) of Batavia, was arrested for Menacing 3^rd and Harassment 2^nd.

Fotiathis was charged following an altercation on East Main St, where he allegedly threatened another person. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
