• On 8/22/2024, Penny S Hofert (age 58) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3^rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd.

Hofert was arrested, after an investigation into a drug sale that took place on 8/5/2024. Members of the Batavia Police Net Unit allegedly witnessed Hofert conduct a drug sale on Bank St. Hofert was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 8/27/2024, Adam J Arsenault (age 38) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th.

It’s alleged that Arsenault was found in possession of a muzzleloader. Arsenault is a convicted felon and is not permitted to possess any guns. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 9/10/2024.

• On 8/24/2024, Kyle J Leenhouts (age 36) of Rochester, was arrested for DWI.

Batavia Police Officers were called to the McDonald’s drive-thru, on East Main St, where Lenhouts was allegedly causing a disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined that Leenhouts was operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court, on 9/3/2024.

• On 8/26/2024, Keith M Lewandowski (age 33) of Batavia, was arrested on a warrat for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

On 12/3/2023, Officers stopped Lewandowski on his bicycle, for a traffic violation. During the encounter, Lewandowski was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. He was arraigned in CAP Court, and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 8/23/2024, Mason D Dumbleton (age 33) of Alexander, was arrested for DWI.

Dumbleton was initially stopped for speeding, on Ellicott St. An investigation determined that he was intoxicated. Dumbleton was issued several traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court, on 9/10/2024.

• On 8/17/2024, Lindsay Q Brooks (age 38) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

It’s alleged that Brooks damaged a door at a residence on Ellicott Pl, during an altercation. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 9/4/2024.

• On 8/15/2024, Trevor N Christman (age 34) of Batavia, was arrested for Exposure of a Person.

Christman was arrested, after allegedly exposing himself and urinating on a building on Ellicott St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 8/27/2024.

• On 8/12/2024, Dominic D Czerniak (age 25) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2^nd.

Czerniak was arrested after an investigation into an incident where he allegedly kicked another person, during an alterction on West Main St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 9/3/2024.

• On 8/24/2024, Suzanne C Stein (age 62) of Byron, was arrested on a warrant.

Stein was initially issued a traffic ticket for a misdemeanor traffic violation. The warrant was issued after she allegedly failed to appear in court. Stein was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 8/19/2024, Michael C Smith (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested on four warrants.

The warrants are related to several different incidents, where Smith was charged with Petit Larceny and Trespass. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court, on 9/3/2024.
