The City of Batavia Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill Police Officer vacancies. 

Candidates must possess a current Phase 1 or Phase 2 certificate from an accreditated NYS Police Academy.

Candidates will be subject to a thorough background investigation, psychological screening, polygraph exam, physical agility testing as well as a drug/health screening.

All appoints are provisional in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law.
