-    On 8/4/2026, Travis G Jemison (age 33) of Batavia, was arrested for Failure to Register Internet Identifiers as a Sex Offender.
Jemison, who is a level 3 sex offender, is accused of possessing and using nine different internet identifiers, which were not registered. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of bail.
-    On 8/8/2026, Sean D Connolly (age 42) of Leroy, was arrested for DWI.
Connolly was charged following a traffic stop on East Main St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.
-    On 8/7/2026, Zachary M Burk (age 29) of Batavia, was arrested on two counts of Criminal Contempt 2nd and two counts of Aggravated Family Offense.
The charges stem from two separate incidents where Burk allegedly violated an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
-    On 8/7/2026, Mark D Tooley (age 43) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Tooley was charged following an investigation into a traffic stop that occurred in March of 2025, where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
-    On 8/5/2026, Duane A Mather (age 53) of Medina, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2nd.
Mather allegedly sent a text message to another person, in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
