1. Jennifer J Hogan (age 32) of Rochester is charged with two counts of Bail Jumping 3rd and one count of Bail Jumping 2nd.
On 6/27/2023, Jennifer J Hogan was arrested on two counts of Bail Jumping 3rd and one count of Bail Jumping 2nd. Hogan was already in the custody of the Genesee County Jail, after being arrested on three bench warrants, on 6/15/2023. She was charged with the additional Bail Jumping charges in relation to those three cases. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded back into the custody of the Genesee County Jail. The cases were handled by Officer Moscicki.
2. Breanna E Brummond (age 32) was arrested on two bench warrants.
On 6/27/2023 Brianna E Brummond of Lyons, NY was arrested on two bench warrants from Batavia City Court. The warrants stem from two separate incidents on 2/3/2023 where Brummond was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Trespass 3rd. Brummond was issued appearance tickets, in both cases and released. She allegedly failed to appear and two warrants were issued on 2/14/2023. Brummond was arrested on both warrants on 4/5/2023. She was arraigned and released. On 4/20/2023, warrants were issued again, after she allegedly failed to appear. Brummond was arrested on those warrants on 6/27/2023 and arraigned in CAP court. She was remanded to the custody of the Genesee County Jail and is due back in court, at a later date. The arrest was handled by Officer Defelice.
3. Shameek T Taylor (age 36) of Bergen is charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.
Shameek T Taylor was arrested on 6/27/2023, after an investigation into a disturbance on West Main St. Taylor allegedly placed his hand around the neck of another person and applied pressure, causing their breathing to be obstructed. Taylor was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear back in court, at a later date. The case was handled by Officers Post and Crossett.
4. Bill A Thomas (age 63) of Batavia is charged with Open Container.
On 6/21/2023, Bill A Thomas was arrested after he was allegedly found to be in possession of an open alcoholic beverage container, in a local park. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. The case was handled by Officer Davis.
5. Billy Joe Budziszewski (age 31) of Varysburg was arrested on an arrest warrant, from Batavia City Court.
The warrant is the result of an incident on 1/1/2023, where Budziszewski refused to leave a local business. He was charged with Trespassing and allegedly fought with Officers when they attempted to take him into custody. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. Budziszewski allegedly failed to appear and a warrant was issued, on 1/24/2023. He was arrested on the warrant on 6/24/2023. The arrest was handled by Officer Tucker.
6. Dustin T Forkell (age 32) of Ogden was arrested on two bench warrants.
On 6/24/2023, Dustin T Forkell was arrested on two bench warrants, from Batavia City Court. The warrants stem from an incident where Forkell was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th, after allegedly being found in possession of a stolen vehicle. He was additionally charged with False Personation and Petit Larceny, after he allegedly stole merchandise, from a local business and lied to Police about his identity. Forkell was arraigned in CAP Court and is due back in City Court, at a later date. The arrest was handled by Officer Crossett.
7. Brittanee J Hooten (age 34) of Batavia was arrested on an arrest warrant, from Batavia City Court.
Hooten was arrested on 6/22/2023, on an arrest warrant, from Batavia City Court. Hooten was originally charged with Petit Larceny on 9/17/2022, after allegedly stealing merchandise, from a local business. Hooten was released on an appearance ticket. A warrant was issued on 10/20/2022, after Hooten allegedly failed to appear in court. She was arrested on the warrant on 6/22/2023 and arraigned in CAP Court. Hooten was remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $100 cash bail and $200 surety bond. The arrest was handled by Officer Freeman.
8. Kenyetta D Culver (age 47) of Batavia was arrested on an arrest warrant.
On 6/23/2023, Kenyetta D Culver turned herself in to Batavia Police on an arrest warrant, from Batavia City Court. The warrant is the result of a traffic stop on 2/12/2023, where Culver was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket, for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. The warrant was issued on 6/14/2023, after Culver allegedly failed to appear in court. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court where she pled guilty and was assessed a fine. The arrest was handled by Officer Mruczek.
