• On 7/15/2024, Penny S Hofert (age 58) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3^rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd.

Hofert was arrested after an investigation into alleged drug sales, in the City of Batavia. She was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 7/15/2024, David J Vega (age 59) of Rochester, was arrested on two warrants.

The first warrant stems from a traffic stop, where Vega was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket, but failed to appear in court. The other warrant was issued after Vega failed to appear in court, on a robbery charge, from 2019. He was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 7/8/2024, Lorendia S Templeton (age 29) of Farmington, was arrested for Attempted Assault 1^st, Menacing 2^nd, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th.

It’s alleged that Templeton struck another person, with a baseball bat, during an altercation on Elm St on 7/7/2024. Templeton was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 7/18/2024, Michael J Miller (age 46) of Batavia, was arrested on two warrants.

The warrants stem from two separate incidents, where Miller failed to register a change of address, as a sex offender. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court, on 8/1/2024.

• On 7/16/2024, Cindy I Bush (age 62) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

The arrest stems from an incident on 10/26/2023, when Bush was allegedly found in possession of cocaine and fentanyl. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 7/30/2024.

• On 7/14/2024, Laquita O Jackson-Thomas (age 41) of Rochester, was arrested on a warrant.

The warrant was issued after Jackson-Thomas failed to appear in court, after being issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and is due back in court, at a later date.

• On 7/11/2024, Jon H Bush (age 64) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

The arrest stems from an incident on 10/26/2023, when Bush was found to be in possession of cocaine. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 7/23/2024.

• On 7/16/2024, Michael C Smith (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested for Petit Larceny.

It’s alleged that Smith stole a wagon from TF Brown’s. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 7/30/2024.

• On 7/16/2024, Dontre R Woods (age 34) of Batavia, was arrested on a warrant.

It’s alleged that Woods failed to appear in court, after being issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket, in February. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 7/13/2024, Christine A Draper (age 53) of Bethany, was arrested for Harassment 2^nd.

Draper allegedly punched another person in the face, during an altercation at Batavia Downs. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 7/23/2024.

• On 7/4/2024, Krystle D Sanders, Dajuandrick C Gardner, and Ashley M Davis were all arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

It’s alleged that all three watched and encouraged two juveniles to engage in a physical fight, on State St on 6/6/2024. They were each issued an appearance ticket and are due in court, on 7/16/2024.

• On 7/8/2024, Ryan A Decillis (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2^nd.

Decillis allegedly shoved another person, during an altercation at an address on Ross St. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 7/14/2024, Samuel J Hernandez (age 22) of Batavia, was arrested for Petit Larceny.

It’s alleged that Hernandez stole the tip jar, from Blondies Sip-N-Dip. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 7/23/2024.

• On 7/4/2024, Courtney B Kacur (age 21) of Leroy, was arrested for DWI.

Kacur was arrested after she was found asleep at the wheel, at McDonald’s on East Main St. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 7/16/2024.
