• On 7/10/2026, Torre D Hamilton (age 51) of Columbus, OH, was arrested for DWI.

Hamilton was charged following a traffic stop on Park Rd. He was issued multiple traffic tickets and released.

• On 7/7/2026, Mark E Flaming IV (age 36) of Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for Menacing 2^nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment 2^nd.

It’s alleged that Flaming punched another person in the face, using brass knuckles, while a child was present. He was arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 7/8/2026, Dennis R Ramsey (age 47) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 3^rd and Petit Larceny.

Ramsey allegedly entered a business that he had been previously trespassed from and stole merchandise. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 7/13/2026, David B Hess (age 39) of Alexander, was arrested for DWI.

Hess was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 7/15/2026, Charlene M Poole (age 55) of Batavia and Junior D Benedict (age 47) of Batavia, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

Poole and Benedict waere arrested following a traffic stop on Main St, where they were allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. They were issued appearance tickets and released.

• On 6/25/2026, Timothy O Lee (age 45) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

Lee allegedly punched and broke the window of a car, during an altercation at Farrell Park. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 7/12/2026, Richard F Hull (age 48) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

Hull allegedly damaged a door, during an altercation on Vine St. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 7/2/2026, Robert J Dercqu (age 25) of Batavia, was arrested for Petit Larceny, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd.

Dercqu allegedly stole merchandise, from Dollar General on East Main St. He then resisted arrest, when police attempted to take him into custody. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 7/11/2026, Steven J Willis (age 60) of Geneseo, was arrested for Aggravated Harassment 2^nd.

Willis allegedly called a local gas station and made threats to the store and the employees. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 7/3/2026, Lazarus U Sims (age 54) of Syracuse, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5^th.

Sims was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St, where he was allegedly found in possession of a license plate that had been reported as stolen. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 7/8/2026, Christopher L Wissinger (age 53) of Leroy and Diana L Sponaugle (age 52) of Leroy, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

Wissinger and Sponaugle were charged following a traffic stop on Ellicott St, where they were both allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released.
