• On 5/20/2026, Jeanna M Hattaway (age 39) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 3^rd and Petit Larceny.

Hattaway allegedly entered the Dollar General store on East Main St, where she had previously been trespassed, and stole merchandise. She was taken to the Genesee County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.

• On 5/21/2026, Kevin M Waleski (age 38) of Batavia, was arrested for Failing to Report Change of Address as a Sex Offender.

Waleski, who is a level 1 sex offender, allegedly failed to report a change of address within 10 days. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 5/21/2026, Michael C Stoddard (age 52) of Batavia, was arrested for Failing to Report Change of Address as a Sex Offender.

Stoddard, who is a level 2 sex offender, allegedly failed to report a change of address within 10 days. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 5/24/2026, Kristian L Alexander (age 45) of Batavia, was arrested for Felony DWI.

Alexander was charged following an investigation into a property damage accident on Bank St. Alexander was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

• On 5/31/2026, Markis R Gaines (age 29) of Ontario, NY, was arrested for Burglary 3^rd and Criminal Impersonation.

Gaines allegedly entered the Richmond Memorial Library, where he had previously been trespassed, by using another person’s library card. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

• On 5/27/2026, Amanda L Leach (age 36) of Bergen, was arrested for Burglary 2^nd and Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Leach allegedly entered a home on Summit St, in violation of an order of protection. She was taken to the Genesee County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.

• On 5/17/2026, Israe S Alvarez-Martinez (age 30) was arrested for DWI.

Alvarez-Martinez was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 5/23/2026, Patrick M Cummings (age 43) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

Cummings was charged following an investigation into an altercation at TF Brown’s where he allegedly grabbed another person by the neck. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 5/22/2026, Steven J Godinho (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested on four outstanding Bench Warrants.

Godinho allegedly initially failed to comply with Officers as they attempted to take him into custody and was additionally charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 5/30/2026, Hailey M McLane and Kailyn A Beatty were arrested and charged with Conspiracy 6^th.

It’s alleged that McLane and Beatty conspired together to tamper with another person’s vehicle. Beatty was additionally charged with Criminal Tampering 3^rd. Both were released and are due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

• On 5/30/2026, Justin M Evans (age 30) of Central Square, NY, was arrested for DWI.

Evans was charged following a traffic stop on Clinton St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 5/21/2026, Corbin L Nichols (age 18) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Nichols allegedly violated an order of protection by returning to an address on Bank St. He was transported to the Genesee County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.

• On 5/26/2026, Ryan A Maxwell (age 22) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th and Harassment 2^nd.

It’s alleged that Maxwell was involved in a physical altercation with another person and that he damaged property. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 6/9/2026.

• On 5/28/2026, Benjamin G Evans IV (age 37) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

Evans was allegedly found in possession of cocaine, when police took him into custody on an outstanding warrant. He was issued an appearance ticket and taken to the Genesee County Jail to be processed on the warrant.
