• On 6/19/2026, Daniel P Frey (age 43) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 2^nd, Petit Larceny and Falsely Reporting an Incident.

Frey allegedly broke into a vacant residence on Porter Ave and stole firearm ammunition. He then falsely reported an incident to police regarding how he came into possession of the ammunition. He was arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 6/15/2026, Paul W Zeches (age 37) of Batavia, was arrested for Failure to Report Change of Address as a Sex Offender 2^nd Offense.

Zeches allegedly failed to report a change of address within 10 days, as he is required to do as a level 2 sex offender. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 6/16/2026, Rosemary R Waters (age 40) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd and Resisting Arrest.

Waters was allegedly found in possession of narcotics and resisted arrest, when Officers attempted to take her into custody on an outstanding warrant. Waters was issued an appearance ticket and taken to the Genesee County Jail to be arraigned on the warrant.

• On 6/19/2026, Michael A Sweet (age 40) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3^rd.

Sweet was charged following a traffic stop where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, while driving with a suspended license. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 6/16/2026, Stanley T Hooker (age 34) of Albion, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3^rd.

Hooker was charged following a traffic stop on Vine St where he was found in possession of narcotics while driving with a suspended license. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 6/19/2026, Francisco Martinez Jr and Stephen P Dobnack were arrested for Criminal Trespass 2^nd.

Martinez and Dobnack were allegedly found inside a vacant residence on Porter Ave. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 6/20/2026, Jennifer L Button (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2^nd, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd, and Harassment 2^nd.

Button allegedly violated an order of protection. While being taken into custody she allegedly threw an object at a police officer and resisted arrest. She was taken to the Genesee County Jail to be arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 6/17/2026, Richard D Mattice (age 79) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.

Mattice was charged following a traffic stop on Williams St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 6/18/2026, Richard L Nicometo (age 29) of Batavia, Dustin G Nicometo (age 39) of Batavia, and Colleen M Hutchinson (age 51) of Batavia, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

All three were charged following a traffic stop on Ellicott St where they were found in possession of crack cocaine. They were issued appearance tickets and released.

• On 6/16/2026, Daniel J Nicometo (age 27) of Batavia, Richard L Nicometo (age 29) of Batavia, Kelly C Horton (age 55) of Batavia, and David J Reschke (age 34) of Batavia, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

They were all charged following a traffic stop on Washington Ave where they were allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. All four were issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 6/22/2026, Steven J Godinho (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Godinho allegedly sent text messages to another person, in violation of an order of protection. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 6/21/2026, Shawn P Gaylord (age 50) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

Gaylord allegedly caused damage to a vehicle by throwing firecrackers at it. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 6/24/2026, Cody J Resch (age 28) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th.

Resch allegedly damaged property during a domestic dispute. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 6/24/2026, Daniel M Munt (age 27) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2^nd and Disorderly Conduct.

Munt allegedly threatened another person, during an altercation on Bank St. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
