- On 4/1/2026, Carl E Russo (age 22) of Batavia, was arrested for Strangulation 2nd, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Contempt 1st, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
It’s alleged that over the course of several days, Russo violated an order of protection by strangling another person in the presence of two children. Russo was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
- On 3/30/2026, Daryl A Leach (age 44) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 2nd, Criminal Contempt 2nd, and Aggravated Family Offense.
Leach allegedly illegally entered a residence, in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
- On 4/5/2026, Jessica L Shannon (age 29) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
Shannon was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.
- On 4/3/2026, Billy J Johnson (age 48) of Batavia, was arrested for Aggravated Harassment 2nd.
It’s alleged that Johnson repeatedly called the victim at least 17 times, for no legitimate reason. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 4/14/2026.
- On 4/4/2026, Luis A Martinez (age 70) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
Martinez was arrested following a traffic accident in the parking lot of TF Brown’s. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
- On 4/2/2026, Candice M Fiegl (age 33) of Batavia, was arrested for Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
It’s alleged that Fiegl touched the intimate/sexual body parts of a person under the age of 17. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
- On 4/3/2026, Sandra L Marsceill (age 54) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
It’s alleged that Marsceill was found in possession of narcotics, while being arrested on a warrant. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
- On 4/2/2026, Lyndsay T Young (age 43) of Clinton Illinois, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Young was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, during a traffic stop in August of 2024. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
- On 4/1/2026, Elizabeth A Lindner (age 39) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Lindner was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, during an unrelated arrest. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
- On 3/30/2026, Michelle F Parker (age 49) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Parker was allegedly found in possession of narcotics during a traffic stop on East Main St. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
- On 3/28/2026, Demetrius W Richardson (age 44) of Batavia, was arrested for Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd, and several traffic violations.
It’s alleged that Richardson fled from a traffic stop in a vehicle and lead police on a short pursuit, before being taken into custody at an address on Bank St. He was processed and released on appearance tickets.
- On 3/31/2026, Eric M Rodak (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Harassment 2nd.
It’s alleged that Rodak pulled the victim’s hair and grabbed them by the neck. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
- On 4/4/2026, Michael B Avery (age 36) of Batavia, was arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Criminal Mischief 4th and Harassment 2nd.
Avery allegedly struck the victim and refused to let them exit a vehicle. He then allegedly took the victim’s phone, to prevent them from calling police. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
- On 4/3/2026, Bernard L Parnell (age 36) of Rochester, was arrested on two Bench Warrants.
The first warrant is related to an incident that occurred on Otis St on 4/21/2025, when Parnell was charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd and Harassment 2nd. The other warrant is related to a larceny charged from the same day when Parnell allegedly stole merchandise from Speedway. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
