• On 12/24/2024, Brian F Kent (age 53) of Batavia, was arrested for Assault 2^nd, Assault 3^rd, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2^nd.

The arrest stems from an incident, on 12/21/2024, when officers attempted to take Kent into custody on a separate incident. Kent allegedly fought with two police officers, causing injury to both of them. Kent was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court, at a later date.

• On 12/6/2024, James E Murray Jr (age 36) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 2^nd, Criminal Contempt 1^st, and Harassment 2^nd.

Murray allegedly violated an order of protection, during a domestic incident on Montclair Ave. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court, on 1/7/2025.

• On 12/19/2024, Nathan L Royse (age 33) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd.

The arrest stems from an incident on 4/23/2024, when Royse allegedly attempted to stab another person, during an altercation at Austin Park. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 12/15/2024, Samuel R Blackshear (age 23) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 2^nd, Criminal Contempt 1^st, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Blackshear was allegedly involved in a physical altercation, on Ellsworth Ave, where he violated an order of protection and placed his hands around the victim’s neck, causing her to be unable to breathe. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 12/14/2024, Douglas G Goodwin (age 33) of Alabama, was arrested for Reckless Endangerment 2^nd and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1^st.

On 12/13/2024, police were called to an address on Ellicott St, for the report of a suspicious vehicle. When officers approached the vehicle, Goodwin allegedly placed the vehicle in reverse and accelerated, almost striking one of the officers. Goodwin then fled the area. He was located the next day and arrested. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 12/17/2024.

• On 12/26/2024, Adam J Howard (age 39) of Rochester, was arrested on a warrant for Petit Larceny.

It’s alleged that Howard stole a TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick from a residence in Batavia. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 12/14/2024, Cody M Landin (age 36) of Middlebury, was arrested for DWI.

Landin was allegedly involved in an accident, on West Main St. When police arrived, Landin left the scene and initially failed to stop, when officers attempted to pull him over. Landin was arraigned in CAP Court, and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 12/22/2024, Marcus Cauldwell (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4^th and Endangering the welfare of a child.

Cauldwell allegedly damaged a door in the presence of a child, during an altercation on Bank St. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 12/20/2024, William E Tolliver Jr (age 62) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.

Tolliver was arrested after a traffic stop, on East Ave, where he was allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued several traffic tickets and released. He is due in court, on 1/8/2025.

• On 12/19/2024, Trace G Brewer (age 24) of Batavia, was arrested on two Bench Warrants.

Brewer allegedly fled on foot, when officers attempted to take him into custody. He was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court on 1/7/2025.

•  On 12/19/2024, Samantha L Tate (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested on a Bench Warrant.

Tate was initially charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, in March of 2023. The warrant was issued after Tate failed to appear in court. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court, and released.

• On 12/18/2024, Robert Z Johnson (age 65) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2^nd.

Johnson was charged after he allegedly struck another person, during an altercation on East Main St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/7/2025. Johnson was also charged with another count of Harassment 2^nd, in relation to an incident that took place on 12/18/2024, when he allegedly threatened them. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 12/17/2024, Charles P Stevens, Shelby L Fryer, Jasmine C Mayo, and Taylor A Browne were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

All four were arrested following a traffic stop on S Main St, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. They were each issued an appearance ticket and are due in court, on 1/7/2025.

• On 12/18/2024, David L Weaver (age 34) of Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant.

Weaver was arrested in December of 2022, for Harassment 2^nd. The warrant was issued, when he failed to appear in court. Weaver was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 12/17/2024, Cassandra F Smith (age 39) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Smith allegedly threw an object at a person, who had an order of protection against her. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. She is due back in court, on 1/22/2025.

• On 12/17/2024, Ajia R Hasenauer (age 31) of Rochester, was arrested on two bench warrants.

The first warrant is related to an incident where Hasenauer allegedly took a vehicle without permission. The second is related to an incident where Hasenauer was issued several traffic tickets. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. She is due back in court, on 1/8/2025.

• On 12/17/2024, Janell M Sauer, Colleen M Hutchinson, and Brandon M Seppe were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

All three were arrested during a traffic stop, on Lewiston Rd, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. They were issued appearance tickets and are due in court, on 1/8/2025.

• On 12/13/2024, Victoria J Paul (age 33) of Leroy, was arrested on an arrest warrant.

Paul was initially charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3^rd, on 1/18/2024. The warrant was issued when she failed to appear in court. Paul was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 12/10/2024, Jade A Fayko (age 29) of Ridgeway, was arrested on an arrest warrant.

Fayko was initially charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3^rd, in August of 2023. The warrant was issued when she failed to appear in court. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 12/14/2024, Richard D Neal (age 35) of Albion, was arrested for DWI.

Neal was arrested, after a traffic stop on West Main St, where he was allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court, on 12/18/2024.
